Betty Boop's Ker-Choo is a 1933 Fleischer Studios animated short film starring Betty Boop, and featuring Koko the Clown and Bimbo.
[edit] Synopsis
The story begins with a crowd of cartoon characters filling the seats in a stadium. We soon learn that today's event is an auto race (in the style of Barney Oldfield). Betty, Bimbo, and Koko are among the drivers, but Betty arrives late, explaining that it is because she has a cold. Even though she has a cold, Betty wins by a nose, being the only car over the finish line after a sneeze-induced pile-up.
[edit] Notes and comments
Betty sings the song "I've Got a Cold in My Nose", written by Scott Bradley.
Instead of her usual black dress, Betty wears a white racing coverall, but still manages to look sexy.
In the 1990's the short was shown on Cartoon Network as a Groovie set to the tune of Soul Coughing's "Rolling".
