BetterWorld [1] is a direct e-commerce website operated by Better World Books. The website was launched in November 2006 for online sales of books donated through book drives across North America.

BetterWorld.com was the among the first e-commerce websites to adopt "Carbon Neutral Shopping Cart" in partnership with Carbonfund.org. "CarbonFree Shipping" is a carbon offset program, improving the environmental impact of shipping-related carbon-dioxide (CO2) emissions.

BetterWorld.com is currently the highest rated merchant on the independent feedback website Rapleaf.com
