Bettadapura

Bettadapura is a town located in Karnataka State, India, and one of a number of towns which are home to the Sankethi people.

The name of the town is derived from 2 kannda words "Betta" and "pura". Betta meaning hill/mountain and pura means a town. This town has a big mountain and on the top of it is a temple of shri Sidlu Mallikarjuna Swamy.

Bettadpura hobli is one of the major producer of Tobacco in the country/state.
