Beth Jacob Jerusalem is an Orthodox Jewish Teaching Seminary for young women located on Rechov Sorotzkin in Jerusalem, Israel. Its current dean is Rebbetzin Bruria David. Several teachers include: G'veret Leibowitz and G'veret Plitnick. A famous former teacher is the late Rabbi Dr. Samson R. Weiss, an erudite Talmudic Scholar.
Applications are accepted in the months of October and November. Replies are mailed out every February 15; of the over 1000 girls who apply each year, less than 200 are accepted. Criteria for acceptance are not publicly known; Rebbetzin David makes the selections by herself.
