Byeshenkovichi: Town in Latvia, formerly in the district of Lepelsk, government of Vitebsk, Russia, with a population which is four fifths Jewish of whom 576 are artisans. They have a synagogue, many houses of prayer, three benevolent societies, and numerous religious schools.
