I have made some edits that I hope may balance some POV overweight in the previous version. Stammer 11:39, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

I am adding some more edits based on J. Pope-Hennessy's article "Bernard Berenson" in "Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani", 34. Stammer 12:53, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Oughtn't there be something about his ties to Fascism? He lived in Italy throughout the Fascist regime, right through WW2. --Al-Nofi 15:46, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Good point. I'll have a look. Stammer 12:35, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
I added something about Berenson's stay at I Tatti during WW2. The guy had guts. It may be expanded describing Berenson's critical attitude to Fascism and viceversa. If I will find the time, I will rather write an unrelated paragraph devoted to Berenson's controversial and paradigmatic essay about the "Amico di Sandro", now widely regarded as an imaginary artistic personality to whom he attributed various works by other painters.
