Bernd von Arnim

Kapitanleuenant Bernd von Arnim (died 21 April 1917) was a German naval officer killed during world war 1. He was killed in action with Royal Navy forces aboard torpedoboot SMS G42 during the Battle of Dover Strait. The second world war German destroyer Z11 was named in Bernd von Arnim his honour.
