Bernd Kannenberg (born 20 August 1942 in Königsberg, East Prussia) was a West German athlete who mainly competed in the 50 kilometre walk.[citation needed]
He competed for West Germany at the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich, Germany where he won the gold medal in the men's 50 kilometre walk event.[citation needed]
