Bernadette Sembrano

Bernadette Sembrano is a popular newscaster and television host in the Philippines. She was born on February 18, 1976.

Sembrano graduated high school from Angelicum School (now Angelicum College), a private Catholic school in Quezon City, Philippines. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Sembrano started with GMA Network as a newscaster. She moved to the rival ABS-CBN Network.

She is the current host of Nagmamahal, Kapamilya, a documentary drama on the lives of overseas Filipino workers and their attempts to be reunited with their families that have long been apart.

She is also a co-host in TV Patrol Sabado, a newscaster in the DZMM radio station, and other news and public affairs programs of ABS-CBN.

She remains one of the more visible newscasters, television hosts, and correspondents of the ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs.

Sembrano is the co-owner and founder of a bookstore specializing in hard-to-find books in Quezon City, Philippines. She formed this business partnership with colleagues in Phiippine media and former classmates in college.

Sembrano once dated Philippine Senator Benigno Aquino III, only son of former Philippine President Corazon Aquino and elder brother of actress Kris Aquino.

Her mother, Elaine Sembrano, will assume one of the 12 City Council seats in Baguio City on June 30, 2007.

She is currently boyfriend and soon-to-be married by Kawit, Cavite Vice-Mayor Emilio "Orange" Aguinaldo IV (the great-grandson of the late former President Emilio Aguinaldo).
