[edit] Terrible

This article is terrible. It is very NPOV and unbalanced. It really needs to be re-edited by someone who knows what they are talking about.

[edit] Correcting definitions of Primary and Secondary Poverty

I'm planning to correct the definitions of Primary and Secondary Poverty to bring them in line with those in Rowntree's Book Poverty. Both groups being defined as being below the poverty line but for different reasons. The part of Poverty that deals with this can be read at the External Link to Glasgow University on the article, follow the link summary and conclusion and look at pages 295 and 296. [edit] Plagarism?

The following concern was raised on the article's main page:

Large chunks of this work are lifetd direct from Haralambos and Holborn, "Sociology themes and perspectives." 4th edition (1998) see as an example "Criticism of his work." Compare with page 127 in H&H. Yet I see no acknowledgement of H&H in this text.
