[edit] Editor

He was editor of what? Last paragraph, lead sentence..probably supposed to be a newspaper title there. ⋙–Berean–Hunter—► ((⊕)) 09:41, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] General?

Being a brevetted general for the volunteers is NOT the same as being a brevetted general for the US Army. His actual army rank at the end of the war was major and he retired as a brevetted colonel (not actual). ⋙–Berean–Hunter—► ((⊕)) 11:01, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
