Rick, if you really feel like you have to do that, go ahead. You might as well go through my contribs, and change them all too. I won't stop you. "U.S." is a POV usage used by people who don't like "American" because they're afraid of offending people. It's our country, our nationality. RickK 07:38, May 22, 2005 (UTC)
I use it because I like it. So does the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Congress too. And before you say "those don't count", just remember there is no "France Army" or "Mexico Army". U.S. is an adjective in those links, and I'm proud to use it that way too. -- Decumanus 07:41, 2005 May 22 (UTC)
