I found the text of part of this article changed to "He was addicted to all the vices usually attributed to Methodists before their dramatic converstions including card-playing, cock-fighting, drinking, and brawling." I am a practicing Catholic, with no ties to the Methodist faith, and cannot see any reason to impugn the character of the subject and the possible legitimacy of his conversion in this way. Also, there is no reference included to indicate that "dramatic conversions" of this kind typically converted in this way. On that basis, I am reverting the text to its original form without the unreferenced, unjustified statement above. Badbilltucker 19:49, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
