Hi everyone, this portal has been created to feature the contents on wikipedia relating to Bengal region. While topics of common interest to the region including bilateral issues between Bangladesh and West Bengal can be items in the focus, the portal will also highlight items relating to common heritage of the region including Bengali people, Bengali culture and Bengali language. The portal uses random rotation of components. Care has been taken to ensure a balanced representation of Bangladesh and West Bengal related topics in the list of items in rotation. It is possible that at a particular instance, the portal looks biased to either part of Bengal, but if you refresh the page a few times (link at top left cornenr of the intro section) you should get a balanced view.
