Ben Kennedy (born February 14, 1987 in Newcastle, Australia) is a football (soccer) goalkeeper who currently plays for A-League outfit the Newcastle United Jets.
[edit] Club career
Kennedy has been a train-on player for the Jets but with such obvious potential has been brought into the full squad for the 2006/07 Hyundai A-League season. He is a natural goalkeeper. Good with crosses, has good shot stopping reflexes and the more experience he gets the more he will impose his presence in the game. Until half-way through the 2006-2007 A-League season, Newcastle only had the inexperienced Ben Kennedy as a registered goalkeeper in their squad.
