Ben Gotō (五島勉 Japanese: Gotō Ben?, November 17, 1929 -) is a Japanese documentarist, novelist.

He was born to a Russian-Orthodox family in Hakodate, Hokkaidō. When he was studying law at Tohoku University, he wrote pornographic novels as a part time job, thus he began his career as a writer.

He was working as a freelance writer for ladies' magazines, but in 1973, he published a book named "ノストラダムスの大予言" (Nostradamus no daiyogen; "The great prophecy of Nostradamus"), which became one of the best sellers. This book is based on The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.

He wrote novels that have nothing to do with Nostradamus, but commercially failed.
