Benjamin Gerrard is an English actor and musician who plays the role of wannabe musician Cameron Clark in the TV series Hollyoaks.[1]

Gerrard is known for playing Cameron in the popular TV series Hollyoaks. Cameron is a wannabe musician who felt his parents were controlling his life as they encouraged him to carry on his education rather than his music dream. Eventually after a suicide attempt which was stopped by his band mate he joined Hollyoaks Community College to study music. He was found to suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder and later joined a band and left the series to go to Europe.

Formerly known as Chairmen of the Bored, Gerrard is the lead vocalist and lead guitarist for the English rock band MirrorView. They tour extensively around the UK and have been recording their debut album, 'Black January' throughout 2007. Their album is due for release in January/February 2008 and will be accompanied by their debut single, 'The Last Ride', which is due for release on 14 January 2008.
