Bellevue Christian School

Bellevue Christian School, home of the Vikings, is a 1A school in Clyde Hill, Washington and is apart of the Emerald City League. Founded in 1950 [1] by Dr. Al Greene and his brother Joe Greene, the enrolment of Bellevue Christian School has grown from nine students to around 1,300 students[2].

[edit] Philosophy and Mission Statement
Dr. Al Greene argues that Christians today should have what he calls "an alternative consciousness" and that they should recognize that the Christian worldview is distinctly different from the prevailing secular-humanist worldview that is prevalent in today's culture and public schools[3].
Misison Statement:
To prepare young people to live fully for God in a rapidly changing world, with the ability to understand, evaluate, and transform their world from the foundation of God's unchanging values. [4]

Bellevue Christian School consists of a main campus in Clyde Hill which houses the High School and Junior High programs, as well as the district offices; two elementary school campuses Three Points Elementary (K-6) in Medina and Mack Elementary (K-6) in Woodinville, as well as three pre-school programs (P3, P4, and Pre-k) two of which are located Bellevue and one in Woodinville[5]
