Bell Atlantic Communications, Inc. is the long distance arm of Verizon Communications that competes for long distance services across the United States. It primarily focuses on residential customers, while NYNEX Long Distance is focused on business customers. It does business as Verizon Long Distance, and is officially referred to as Bell Atlantic Communications, Inc. d/b/a Verizon Long Distance.
Bell Atlantic Communications shares its headquarters with NYNEX Long Distance in Arlington, Virginia.
