[edit] Plot
The movie starts with David Vaughn's wife visiting her doctor for her medical checkup. Later she visits David at work and tells him that she is expecting a baby boy. While on duty, David and Victor Hernandez, two emergency paramedics, receive a call from a young girl whose mother has lost consciousness in a deserted area.
When they reach the gas station, some people in a pickup try to stop them from saving the lady. They kidnap David and Vic and take them along. On reaching the place both discover that this cult has a Teacher who is the brain behind all this. Kidnapped and locked in an isolated building, David tries to discover the truth behind a secret cult and their beliefs. As Victor’s beliefs are challenged and the line between religion and science is crossed, David must find a way to escape.
