Hello my name is Behrooz Zahiri. I am a college freshman from Beverly Hills, California, with aspirations of becoming a screenwriter and director. My interests include gymnastics, weightlifting, film, and literature.
I am 100 percent Iranian-American. I was born in Los Angeles and am the last child of two Iranian imigrants who fled ايران after the fall of شاهنشاه. Unfortunately, I only know a few words of فارسی as my parents refused to speak it in front of me when I was a child.
I have used Wikipedia for quite some time and contributed to a variety of articles. However, my high school had rules against creating personal accounts online, so I was not able to start my own account until I received a home computer as a gift this year. Now that I'm in college, I find I have less time to fool around on Wikipedia, but I still use it quite a lot for information.
