Planaria
[edit] Origin of Dugesia iranica, and Dugesia persica
I presume that the origin of subject planaria's is somewhere around Karaj - Taleghan in Iran.
Am I right ?!

there are many different species of planarian in Iran, but unfurtunately there has not been many reasearchers who had worked on them. In Karaj river, there are two main species of planarian, as Dr Ghorbani reported them. There is still another species in side rivers of Karaj river from the Genus Phagocata, which is not officially reported yet.
