Behnke

Behnke or Benke is a surname of German origin. Translated as "sign of the little bear" aka Ursa Minor, it is said that mystical occurrences happened on a hill from which Ursa Minor rose and the Behnke family abided. The family crest consist of the skull and crossbones and two roses dripping blood from the thorns.
