Beeston Hockey Club was founded in 1907. Beeston play their home games at the superb facilities at Highfields Sports Club in Nottingham. Beeston play in the England Hockey premier league recently finishing 7th in the 2007/08 season. The club won its first major trophy on the 17th May 2008 defeating Bowdon 4-3 in a nail biting match.
Managed by Graham Griffiths and captained by son David Griffiths. Beeston are nicknamed the Bees
