Talk:Bedford Falls

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is quite likely the the name Bedford Falls, although supposedly a small town, was actually based on two neighboring cities in Southern New England, New Bedford and Fall River(formerly River Falls). These were two cities that suffered dearly during the Depression and in many ways, never recovered to this day.

The town could refer to any number of small towns in New England including the couple that are relatively near New Bedford and Fall River.

Nick is only the bar owner in the world that lacks a George Bailey. Perhaps a note?
