As far as I can tell, Beano is just a brand-name for alpha galactosidase - at least there are other products that purport to be the same substance, "Bean-Zyme" being one of them. 129.55.27.4 20:23, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, even if that may be, individual brand names for the same thing deserve articles, so long as they were the original or have one of the biggest market shares. Both factors apply to this brand. -- Zanimum 19:00, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
