From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bearded Child Film Festival is a festival specializing in independent and experimental short films. The festival is known for featuring "bizarre, absurd, and wacky wonders that most festivals wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole".[1] It was founded in 2000 by Dan Anderson, then an 11th grade high school student, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The yearly event is held at the Myles Reif Performing Arts Center.
