- By Jove !
English: Propaganda comics to advocate against "non-commercial" licences
- Text (Rama's attempt, feel free to improve the English)
- Excellent idea, my dear Zea! I will lend my photographs so that you can put them into Wikipedia! But I would like a non-commercial license
- Thank you, Uncle Philip! But it would be better to allow commercial use.
- Heh, my dear! I would not like editors getting rich from the tales of my adventures!
- You know, Uncle Philip, for big editors, it is actually easier to make their own photographs than to use yours.
- Besides, should they do this, your photographs would stay free; they would only help you share them.
- On the other hand, by forbidding commercial applications, you are forbidding your photographs from being used on inexpensive DVDs and books published by Wikipedia.
- At these last words, Uncle Philip exclaims:
- By Jove! So, thinking of blocking wealthy profiteers, I was about to stifle sharing free knowledge! You are right, let's put my adventures under CC-by-sa!
