Until a page is created, here is a proxy for Big Brother Australia 2008.

Big Brother Australia 2008 is the upcoming Eighth season of Big Brother Australia. Online auditioning was held throughout the New Year period with voting occuring at the same time. Voting closed on the 7th January, 2008 with a guaranteed place in the house who scored the top 3 places.

The series will start April 27 or 28.

The house location will remain in the Gold Coast. It is expected to have a completely new design, one that is nothing like the houses before it.

[edit] Hosts

Kyle Sandilands And Jackie O will be taking over the fronting job from Gretel Kileen, finishing in 2007. Mike Goldman, Ryan Fitzgerald and Bree Amer will return to host FNL.

[edit] 2008 Revemp

Due to poor ratings in 2007, Endemol Southern Star have created plans to 're-energise' the show. Changes include:

• Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O as new hosts.
• A new Uncut show.
• Possible Merge of the Eviction and Nominations show.
• New house design.
• Remixed opening music.

It has also been suggested that:

• Big Brother timeslot may change and be extended.
• Ex housemates may enter, preferably Vesna (BB05) and Paul (BB04) who auditioned online.
• Live coverage on Ten HD.

Auditions were held online where the Australian public could vote. The top 3 would go straight into the house where the top 50 would go on for further auditioning.
