Baz Shamoun is an Iraqi independent filmmaker who has lived in Canada since 1996. He was exiled from his homeland in 1978 to Prague. He studied television and film at the Carolina University. He established an independent production company, "Enkido Production" in 1996 in Montreal, Canada.
