Bay Colony Stadium is a proposed Plymouth, Massachusetts, facility in which the Plymouth River Eels minor-league baseball team will play home games. Bay Colony Baseball and Athletics, LLC - the parent company of the River Eels - is targeting May of 2007 for the team's on-field launch.
The ballpark will feature 5,000 seats, 20 luxury suites and a left-field picnic pavilion with seating for 300. Additional viewing areas will bring the facility's total capacity to 6,000.
Bay Colony Stadium is part of a complex which will also be home to a 10,000-square-foot (1,000 m²) convention center/banquet facility, , and a three-story, 10,000-square-foot (1,000 m²) office building.
The entire complex is to be built on 28.1 acres of land, located behind the Colony Place shopping plaza in Northwest Plymouth.
