[edit] Notable places in Baumholder

The town of Baumholder has many places for locals and tourists to congregate. The "Vis a Vis" cafe located at the economically major intersection of Kennedyallee and Frohnhausner Strasse offers people outdoor seating, local brew, and arguably one of the best cups of coffee in Germany. Across from Vis a Vis is the "Eis Cafe", an extremely popular and family friendly place that offers homemade ice cream, coffee, and other local specialties. The "Stadtkrug" up the street of the Eis Cafe cooks ribs over an open grill and tastes exceptionally delicious.

[edit] Activities

Baumholder, like most German towns, holds regular festivals throughout the year ranging from "Flohmarkt", or flea markets, to Fasching celebrations where large portions of the streets are closed off.
