Baudouin Prot

Baudouin Prot is the CEO of BNP Paribas, France's 1st biggest banking group.

He was born on May 24, 1951. He graduated from HEC Paris and from the École nationale d'administration. From 1974 to 1983, Mr. Prot was successively the Deputy Prefect of the Franche-Comte region of France, French General Inspector of Finance, and the Deputy Director of Energy and Raw Materials of the Ministry of Industry. He then joined the Banque nationale de Paris in 1983. After the BNP merged with Paribas in 2000, he was appointed CEO in 2003.
