- Battle of Summa generally refers to months long battle. Summa was the main russian pressure point on the Finish main defense line. It finally broke sometime in the early spring of 1940. I may write something better then what was there when (if) I have time. I however removed some quaint reference to Finnish attack 23rd of December. It would have been just one of the many counterattacks of the battle. (Janne Harju)
