Talk:Battle of Sauchieburn

Claims about the exact numbers on either side must be treated with caution. However, given that the rebels seem to have had a fairly easy victory, and the rebellion had the support of the majority of the political community, I am sceptical about claims that they were outnumbered. I suspect that, like other claims about the battle, this could be embellishment by later chroniclers. PatGallacher 22:42, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- Agree, also there is no mention of Bell-the-Cat Earl of Angus, Earl of Argyll etc the principal rebel leaders, but only relatively minor nobility such as Home, Hepburn of Hailes and Gray.Brendandh 15:11, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
