[edit] Date discrepancy
Masonbarge, you wrote that on June 19, Hood learned of Sherman's plan to split his armies. Is this correct or did you mean July 19? Sayeth 16:04, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- July 19, and thanks for neatening up the graphics, that looks good.
- PS Just for personal interest, Tanyard Creek Branch runs through my back yard. It generally is about 1 inch deep and 12 inches wide, LOL. I've always meant to borrow a metal dectector and find a couple of miniballs. Tanyard Creek is about as wide as a surface street.
As far as finding artifacts, the site was pretty well picked over by the mid 1970's when I tried my hand at it. There is a nice battle map here: http://buckhead.lps2.com/placedimages/3314D8mWw1BC0EC0.lg.jpg —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.2.186.10 (talk) 17:09, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
