[edit] One of the first LEGO films?

It is notable for being ... one of the earliest fan film to use LEGO bricks as its creative medium.

I disagree with that statement. Fans have been making LEGO films ("Brickfilms") since at least the late 1980s. I'm going to remove that part of the sentence. HotWheels(53) Talk 03:58, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

This discussion topic intrigued me because I'm both a fan of LEGOs and Batman, and especially this film. However, I must add that after re-reading the article, the claim is that the film is "one of the first LEGO FAN films", not "one of the first LEGO films". Therefore, it is correct. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.228.112.190 (talk • contribs) 00:42, 7 June 2007 (UTC).
Ok, I see your point, but people have still been making "fan films" ever since the LEGO Star Wars line was introduced in 1999 and probably before then (though I'll admit Batman is one of the first high quality ones). Brickfilms.com is a LEGO animation directory that has a bunch of LSW films made prior to the release of Batman: Revenge. If the sentence is going to stay it needs to be rephrased. Wow. I'm curious as to why you're so negative about this film and why you are dedicating so much effort to such a cause that has practically zero importance. I love this film, but in the large scheme of things, "Brickfilms" are probably one of the least important facets of life, and don't warrant such a presidential debate.
