[edit] Gameplay
The object of BattleDawn is to capture all 10 Relics by the end of the round. Relics appear all at once randomly during the game. A round is around 3000-5000 hours, or "ticks." Certain worlds, known as "double speed worlds," To capture relics, you will have to attack "debris" located in the ocean, or steal one from another player who already has one.
Players need to make certain constructions to improve military power, increase the number of resources gained per tick, and various other tasks. There are 44 structures in all. 5 levels for food (higher level, more you get per tick), 5 levels for metal, 5 levels for oil, 5 levels for energy, 4 levels for converting (making one resources into another), 5 levels for factories (make different types of units, last level allows you to construct nukes), 5 levels for workshops (allows you to make different types of weapons and unit types, last level lets you teleport units),5 levels for spy (lets you access stronger spy attacks, last one lets you use the shield generator), 5 levels for radar (increases your radar range and lets to commence better scans, last level lets you use the Ion Cannon)
Players also get crystals to boost their rank. A player can get 1 crystal by researching metal mine 4, voting for BattleDawn the most for a week on MMO listings, or referring the most people to BattleDawn. The only other way to get crystals is to steal them from other players. Each crystal increases your score by 5 points.
Players only have to deal with four resources: Metal, oil, Population, and Energy. Metal and Oil is used to make units for an army. Food allows you to increase your population, in turn increasing metal and oil production. Energy is used for teleporting, launching nukes, and shooting them down, as well as various other maneuvers.
Battldawn has 27 units to make and send out to attack with. There are three chassis, Infantry, Vehicles, and Armor (Tanks). Three weapons to use, Concussive (Bullet), Laser, and Explosive, and three unit types; Armor, Damage, and Range. Armor can take more hits but doesn't do much damage, cheapest unit to make, only uses metal. Damage cannot take much hits, but can do some damage, fairly cheap, metal and oil. Range attacks first, has good health, and good damage. Fairly expensive, double metal and oil than damage. Concussive weapons to more damage against Infanty. Laser weapons do more damage against Vehicles. Explosive weapons do more damage against Armor.
