Jeddah battle 1813 have taken place in Jeddah (Cidde) , in western Arabia. Army of Tusun Pasha reached from Medina and a new army led by Mohammed Ali Pasha has arrived from Egypt. Egyptians have cuptured the city immediately and the pre-Ottoman Sharif was sent to Istanbul and jailed. and few days later these forces have returned Mecca it self. and sultan Mahmud II declared Ghalib Afandi as the new Sharif of Hejaz again .
