Battle Blog

Battle Blog is a personal scale blogging application introduced in August 2003. The original Battle Blog, a rudimentary feat of programming, sported the earliest example of democratic content control ever integrated into a personal blogging application.

The first version, Battle Blog CF, was written in ColdFusion. Subsequent incarnations up to and including the current version 1.25, are written in classic ASP.

July 31, 2003 - the domain BattleBlog.com is registered
August 1, 2003 - Availability of first Battle Blog incarnation is announced to a University of South Florida listserv.
September 30, 2006 - Current version 1.0D introduced.
October 17, 2006 - Current version 1.0D made available for download.
May 5, 2007 - Current version 1.05 made available for download.
