From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bassa Vah (also simply vah) is the indigenous script for the Bassa language, spoken in Liberia and Sierra Leone. It was developed before 1907 by Dr. Thomas Narvin Lewis (c. 1880-?) while he was studying at Syracuse University in the United States[1].
