Basil Moore

Basil Moore (also known as Basil Moore-Asfouri) is a film composer, conductor and music producer. He plays to an advanced level on the piano, drums and percussion instruments.

Moore started playing the drums when he was 12 years old, and later learned how to play the piano. By the age of 17 he was a composer and programmer. He attended the Conservatory of Southern California in Los Angeles, scoring in the top 2% percentile of his entry examinations,[citation needed] and then the Grove School of Music.

Moore became interested in Hollywood production. He received a film scoring education at the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles. He started his professional career as a television commercial composer with customers ranging from British Airways to Peroni Nastro Azzurro beer. At the same time, he was producing music for many artists in the UK and in Italy.
