Bascove (born 1946[1] in Philadelphia[2]) is an American artist. Her paintings have been exhibited in The Museum of the City of New York and the Musée de Cherbourg, and have appeared on the covers of novels by Robertson Davies, Jerome Charyn, and T. C. Boyle, among others.[3][4]
She has also edited and illustrated the books Sustenance and Desire: A Food Lover's Anthology of Sensuality and Humor (2004, ISBN 9781567922776), Where Books Fall Open: A Reader's Anthology of Wit & Passion (2001, ISBN 9781567922516) and Stone and Steel: Paintings and Writings Celebrating the Bridges of New York City (1998, ISBN 9781567920819).
Bascove received her B.A. from the Philadelphia College of Art.[1] She currently resides in New York City.[2]
