I'm a computer consultant whose primary academic interests include vertebrate paleontology, mineralogy (and geology in general), evolution, philosophy, cosmology, civilization and US history. On the leisure side, I am an avid reader (mostly non-fiction books on politics, civilization, and science), but am also a PC gamer and a fan of several TV shows, most notably Lost, Veronica Mars, Medium, 24, Good Eats and The Sopranos.
