Talk:Barrow Gang

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

_ _ The accompanying article may not belong in the best refactoring of the Bonny & Clyde material. But it does fulfill two neglected needs:

  1. At least a Rdr at its title, Barrow Gang, and
  2. A straight-forward list of the members.

One better organization might be to incorporate the text into the lead section of Bonny and Clyde, and reduce Barrow Gang to a Rdr.
_ _ Another approach would be to admit that refactoring most of it into two bios is worthwhile. They are not bound together (at least in ways that we have succeeded in stating encyclopedically) by much except presence at the same crime scenes, and their unjustified de-individualization in the public mind. In that case, Barrow Gang and Bonny and Clyde become an article and Rdr to it (i don't much care which is which), de-emphasizing the individual roles in favor of what the gang did. The truth is that the differentiation of roles is of little significance to the story of the group, but crucial to delineating the narrative of any one of the 4 principal gang members.
