[edit] Advertisement?
There seems to be a section in the Baroreceptor activation towards the end that looks awfully like an ad for that company, including a direction to their website. Still, I'm not familiar enough with the topic to make a judgement as to the validity of linking directly to a service provider. Might actually be helpful. In any case, someone else might know if this is indeed an ad and what to do with it. InquisitorHex 05:44, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Sure looks like an advertisement to me. I'm gonna go ahead and delete the paragraph, feel free to revert if you strongly disagree... zenazn 04:46, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Reinstatement question
I am the original poster of the Baroreflex entry, and I am the copyright holder for www.truthaboutets.com, where the original text appeared. Please reinstate it. Thank you.
[edit] Temp page
I have no idea how it ended up on my watchlist, but Baroreflex/Temp just popped up there because some substantial text was added to it. Could someone who understands this subject please check what's there and integrate it here if necessary? That page can then be turned into a redirect so we don't have two versions. Thanks! — Catherine\talk 22:29, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Test Question
I just got out of an exam the question was: Which of the following is responisble for reflex control of the heart rate from changes in blood pressure? parasympathetics sympathetics both I picked both, but think its a bad question since the reflex involves removing the sympthetic component actively which if done alone (ie. beta-blockers for hypertension) would decrease BP. Thanks for any help.
[edit] Effects in exercise
There could be something on this page describing the theories of the baroreflex being reset during exercise!
