[edit] Social consequences

This article isn't specific enough about the social consequences of Haussmannisation. And the 1911 Brittanica isn't the latest source of information.

[edit] Title

The article does not state when he received the title of "baron", which was not his by birth. Any ideas?72.80.105.86 23:26, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Geneva?

I heard when visiting Geneva in early 2007 that parts of it were designed by Haussmann, and certainly some streets strongly resemble his designs for Paris. Does anyone have any information on this? There is nothing in the existing article. Rodparkes (talk) 06:43, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
