According to a book I am editing (it is not published yet, so I don't feel comfortable quoting it), Barbette was very important in the circus world, directing acts. This seems to have been at least as important a part of his life as his drag work was. So, I suggest that the title of this article should be something like Barbette (performer and artist) or Barbette (drag and circus artist). --Pharillon 00:01, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

• I created the article and named it as I did simply to disambiguate it from Barbette. I have no objection to moving it to Barbette (performer). Otto4711 00:52, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
