Barbara Loden (July 8th, 1932- September 5th, 1980)

was an American Actress, best known for her appearances in the films Splendor in the Grass (1961) as Ginny Stamper , directed by her husband Elia Kazan, and Wild River (1960) as Betty Jackson. She was also directed, wrote and starred in the 1971 indie film "Wanda". She succumbed to cancer in 1980.
