Created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 14 June 1913 for James Matthew Barrie. J.M. Barrie was an eminent novelist and playwright, best known for his creation of Peter Pan.

• Sir James Matthew Barrie, 1st Baronet (9 May 1860 - 19 June 1937)

The Baronetcy became extinct on his death.
